Montgomery County is home to the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, which serves over 37,000 students in grades Pre-K through 12. The school system has a strong reputation for academic excellence and has been recognized for its innovative programs and commitment to student achievement.
The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System is made up of 43 schools, including 24 elementary schools, eight middle schools, and seven high schools. In addition to traditional school options, the district also hosts K-12 Virtual School, eight High School College and Career Academies, and an Early Technical College.
